Durapass.770 is chromate based passivation for
continuous coil coating galvanizing lines.

Application

  • Durapass.770 used in coil coat lines with roll coater
    or spray/ Squeegee technology. Also it can treat the
    zinc alloy coated to prevent white rust after plating.

Features

  •  Durapass.770 used after hot dip galvanizing of
    steel iron coil coat.
  •  Durapass.770 produces greenish to iridescent
    coating,

Equipments

Durapass.770 tanks, pumps, piping should be
made of acid resistant stainless steel, PVC.

Process Sequences

  •  Cleaning & Degreasing.
  •  Rinse with water
  •  Pickling
  •  Rinse with water
  •  Hot Dip Galvanizing or zinc plating.

  • Passivation Durapass.770

Initial preparation

  •  Add 50 to 100 liter Durapass.770 per 1000 liter of
    operating volume.

  •  Durapass.770 operating temperature should be within the range 25o to 45oC

     

  •  Prepare the solution in preparation tank before dose to tray.
