Application

Duraclean 112 is a multi purpose acidic liquid cleaner for steel before pickling process. It is design to obtain properly finish substrate with minimal loss of metal at normal ambient temperature for subsequent hot dip galvanizing, and it may used prior to phospahting.

Equipment:

Duraclean 112 tank should be made of stainless steel or
mild steel lined with rubber, P.P., and PVC or acid
resistant fiberglass.

Process Sequences:

  •  Dip the work piece with Duraclean 112 bath
    to degrease and removing light rust from the steel surface.
  •  Rinse with water
  •  Metal finishing (hot dip galvanizing)

Initial preparation:

  •  Add 30- 60 lits of Duraclean 112/ 1000 liters of operating volume.
  • Bath should be prepared with average value
    for the normal operation.

Precautions:

  •  Skim the oil from the surface of the tank at
    least twice in a shift.
  •  Though Duraclean 112 gives sludge free
    operation but like all chemical tanks it needs
    periodic cleaning depending upon the
    workload.
