Product description

  • Duraclean.255 is an alkaline degreaser and
    cleaner powder product, especially formulated to
    activate the metal surface prior to zinc phosphate
    process.

Application

  • Duraclean 255 is specially designed for cleaning and activator in zinc phosphate line. It removes grease and soil from the work piece in a very short span of time with the help of its superior
    detergency.

Feature:

  • stages zinc Phosphating line or when separate zinc Phosphating activation stage
    is not included.
  • Duraclean 255 removes dust, oil and grease at fairly low concentration due to its high detergency and emulsification power.
  •  Duraclean 255 is used mainly in spray
    application and can be used in dip
    application with air agitation.

Equipment:

The main process tank can be fabricated from mild
steel. All the spray nozzles should be of stainless steel
or PVC to avoid erosion and distortion.

Process Sequences:

  • Cleaning and degreasing by Duraclean 255
  •  Water Rinse.
  •  Zinc Phosphating with Duraphos range product
  •  Rinsing
  •  Passivation using Durapass products

Initial Preparation

  • Add 15 to 25 kg of Duraclean 255 per 1000 liters of
    operating volume.
  • It is preferred to keep new make- up weekly.
  • Dissolve Duraclean 255 in warm water bath.

Precautions

  •  Skim the oil from the surface of Duraclean 255 tank at least twice in a shift.
  •  Clean the tank at least once in biweekly to remove all
    sludge.
