Product description

  • Duraclean.282 is alkaline liquid cleaner, formulated to
    work in phosphating pretreatment lines.

Application

  •  Duraclean.282 is effective cleaner for galvanized,
    EGI, stainless steel, aluminum – zinc alloy and cold
    roll steel strips.
  •  Duraclean 282 works at low dosage and medium
    temperature, specially design for continuous strip
    spray application.
  •  Duraclean.282 is readily adaptable to automatic
    dosing control and effective on variety of substrates.

Feature:

  •  Duraclean.282 cleans variety of substrates, which
    makes it most suitable product for strip cleaning
    application.
  •  Duraclean.282 is design to remove oxides from
    galvanized surfaces with out forming zinc hydroxide,
    which is detrimental to paint adhesion.
  •  Duraclean.282 contains special sequestrate which
    prevent aluminum from precipitation in the tank. Thus
    minimizing sludge formation.

Equipment:

The main process tank can be fabricated from mild
steel. All the spray nozzles should be of stainless
steel or PVC to avoid corrosion.

Process Sequences:

  •  Cleaning/Degreasing using Duraclean 282
  •  water rinse
  •  water rinse
     
  • Pretreatment using Duraphos Products.
  •  water rinse

Precautions

  •  Cleaning will build up metal contamination in the bath, which may affect the cleaning performance.
    Therefore bath needs to be drain time to time.
  •  If the solution of bath left to stand and it separates
    in oil and water phase then this bath should be skimmed out and refresh.
