Duradraw 333
Product description
Duradraw 333 is a zinc phosphating product used to produce heavy zinc layer in low carbon wire coils in wire draw process.
Feature:
- Duradraw 333 provide corrosion protection during storage and transportation of coils.
- Duradraw 333 inhibits wear rates of dies, failure of brakes in drawing machine and rupture of coils during process.
- Duradraw 333 works with accelerator and without accelerator.
Applications
Duradraw 333 is used on low carbon steel wire coils drawing lines.

Process Sequences:
- Acid cleaning and pickling with HCl or H2SO4
- Spray Water Rinse.
- Water Rinse.
- Activation
- Zinc Phospahting with Duradraw 333
- Water Rinse.
- Neutralization
- Drying
- Wire drawing.
Initial Preparation :
- Add 40 to 60 liter (60 to 90 kg) of Duradraw 333 per 1000 lit of operating volume.
- Add Duradraw 333 to water after filling half of operating bath solution, while mixing.
- Add accelerator, 500-1500 ml of Duradd 16, Duradd 16 should be diluted with 20% solution with water before adding. Add slowly while mixing.
- Accelerator can be used only where the productivity of line is speed up, otherwise the Duradraw 333 can work without accelerator to reduce the sludge.
