DURA QUICK DRY TOP COAT (BLUE 572)

Product description

A quick drying, high gloss industrial enamel for steel surfaces. May be applied direct-to-metal for use in low to mildly corrosive environments. May also be applied over an anti-corrosive primer for use in more corrosive environments. Satisfactory in color retention up to 121oC (250oF).

Usage

Used as a top finishing Coat on Steel surface.

    – Spreading Rate:- 7 – 9 m2/L
    – Drying Time: – To Touch: 5-10 min.
           To Handle: 1:2 Hr.
           To Overcoat: With 4 Hr
    – Color:- White and 15 color according to Dura color guide
    – Finish:- Semi Gloss and High Gloss

Application Data

– Dilution Thinner :- Toluene or Xylene
– Mixing Ratio : – Up To 100% Toluene.
– Application Method: – Spray Gun – Roller or with Brush.

Surface Preparation

Coating performance is proportional to the degree of surface preparation. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust grease or wax. Steel should be sand blasted to SSPC-SP6 Commercial Blast Cleaning or cleaned to SSPC- SP11 Power Tool Cleaning to Bare Metal. Prime as required below. Steel: Apply directly to steel. An anti-corrosive primer, may be used if additional rust protection is desired for environments of moderate or extreme exposure.
Galvanized Metal: Prime with Cementitious Primer. Previously Painted Surfaces: Glossy surfaces should be sanded to a dull finish to provide good adhesion. Caution: This product contains strong solvents and may lift some previously applied finishes; check for compatibility before commencing repaint work.

Standard package: 200 Liter, 18 Liters

Storage

  •  Storing temperature not exceed more than 30 Celsius.
  •  The transportation trucks and vehicles must be covered well to isolate the coatings pails, drums and tins from direct sunlight.
  •  The pails and tins must be stored in dry places away from high humidity.

Expiry

2 years from manufacture date. (Under normal storage conditions)
