CMC 1010 closed loop Corrosion & Scale inhibitor
Product description
CMC 1010 is a corrosion and scale inhibitor for protection of Water system with a scientifically formulated in a liquid form based on a blend of phosphonates and silicate they can deposit protective films onto various metal surfaces, isolating the metal from any further corrosive attack.
Application
CMC 1010 is used as is a corrosion and scale inhibitor for protection of Water system, Closed Circuit Systems , potable water treatment systems and pipe-loop
Great Value benefits
- CMC 1010 suitable for multi-metal systems including those that contain aluminium.
- CMC 1010 effective in controlling corrosion of many different metals and in systems made up of a variety of metals.
- CMC 1010 excellent scale inhibitor for potable water treatment systems.
- CMC 1010 is nontoxic suitable for automatic dosing in potable water treatment system.
Recommended Use Directions
PASSIVATION DOSAGE
Normally, relatively high dosages of CMC 1010 are required during the first 30 to 60 days of treatment in order to form the initial protective coating. This initial CMC 1010 dosage is referred to as a passivation dosage and should be 3.8 % from water stream flowing.
The actual amount of time required to establish the initial coating will depend on the amount of CMC 1010 injected, water quality, water flow rates, and system length.
MAINTENANCE DOSAGE
After the first 30 to 60 days of treatment, or once film formation has been verified, the dosage can be reduced to a maintenance dose. It is advisable to reduce the CMC 1010 dose incrementally, for example by lowering it to 1.5 % for a period of time (e.g., 30 days), then 1 %, and possibly even down to 0.6 %.
